When your favourite show ends, there is a void left in your life and you wish they had carried on for at least one more season.

Thankfully, there is nothing quite like the cast of your favourite TV show and movie reuniting years after the credits have stopped rolling and posting all of the selfies online thanks to social media.

Recently the cast of Lord of the Rings got together to have dinner, 15 years after the first film was released, and fans went crazy. With that in mind, it’s only fair that you get to take a look back at your favourite shows and the reunion pictures that followed them.

Forest Gump, 1994- 2014

Tom Hanks, Michael Connor Humphreys and Gary Sinise met up ten years after the hugely successful Forrest Gump was released. The film follows the story of a man who seems to get involved in some of the biggest events during the latter part of the 20th century.

Mean Girls, 2004 – 2014

The high school comedy sees Cady Heron, who was educated in Africa, move to America and start high school there. With a lot of rules she wasn’t aware of, Cady struggles to fit in to begin with, only to then become the Queen bee of the school. Starring Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, Amanda Seyfried, Lacey Chabert and Tina Fey, the cast got together for the tenth anniversary of the film.

Pretty Woman, 1990 – 2016

A businessman turns up in town needing a date for social events. Hiring a prostitute to help him out, they end up falling in love despite their lifestyle differences. The cast, including Julia Roberts, Richard Gere and Laura San Giacomo met up in 2016 to celebrate the film’s 25th anniversary.


Matilda, 1996 – 2003

Born with powers, Matilda is completely out of place in her family. With an evil head teacher and horrible parents, Matilda finds happiness in books and learning. Based on the Roald Dahl novel, the cast of the 1996 film reunited, with some of the actors having changed more than others.


Married With Children, 1987 – 2014

Married with Children ran for 11 season from 1987 to 1997 and followed the lives of the Bundy family and stars Katey Sagal, Ed O’Neill, Christina Applegate and David Faustino. The four of them were reunited in 2014 on the red carpet.

That 70’s Show, 1998 – 2013

The retro show set in the 70s started off the careers of the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis. The show address social issues of the 70s, as well as teenage issues. The cast reunited in 2013, a year after Kutcher and Kunis began dating.

Harry Potter, 2002 – 2014/2015

Harry Potter is a worldwide phenomenon. With seven books, eight films and a league of dedicated fans, the world of Harry Potter is well and truly alive. Fans can’t get enough of reunion pictures, showing their favourite characters coming together years later.

Ugly Betty, 2006 – 2016

Wannabe writer Betty Suarez, lands herself the role of personal assistant to Daniel Meade, the person in charge of Mode magazine. Running for four seasons, the show was cancelled due to low ratings but the cast are still great friends with every one of them agreeing to meet up for a reunion in less than 24 hours.

Lord Of The Rings, 2001 – 2017

With the One Ring being responsible for the fate of the civilisation, Frodo Baggins battles to destroy the ring in the fires of Mount Doom whilst powerful forces are searching for it. Starring the likes of Elijah Wood and Orlando Bloom, some of the cast recently met up to have dinner together and the pictures sent fans into a frenzy.

Sex and the City, 1998 – 2010

Following the lives of writer Carrie Bradshaw and her friends Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda through the dating scene of Manhattan, Sex and the City was a hugely successful show throughout its six seasons. With two follow up films and rumours of a third, the girls remain close. Attending the premier of the film in 2010, the four leading ladies looked just as happy and as stunning as ever.

Maid In Manhattan, 2002 – 2014

Maid In Manhattan is the romantic comedy which sees a single mother and hotel maid, Marisa and a high profile politician, Christopher Marshall meet and fall in love. Jennifer Lopez who played Marisa Ventura and Tyler Posey who played her son, Ty Ventura met up with Tyler looking significantly more grown up.

Friends, 1994 – 2004 – 2016

Friends is arguably one of the most successful sitcoms ever. Depicting the lives of the six close friends, following them through relationships, career changes, children and marriage. The stars of the show have become well-known faces across the globe and often get together for interviews and at events.

About Thelma & Louise, 1991 – 2014

Geena Davis and Susan Sarandon played Thelma and Louise, two friends who plan a weekend getaway. The weekend gets out of hand after a man is shot dead and they find themselves on the run. In 2014, the pair reunited.

School Of Rock, 2003 – 2013

Starring Jack Black who almost accidentally becomes a teacher to fifth-graders, Black, who plays the character of Dewey Finn turns the class into his a band of rock and rollers. Just children when they starred in the film, the majority of the cast have changed dramatically since it was filmed.

Star Wars, 1980 – 2013

The epic space opera film was first released in 1980 and has since gone onto be followed by several more films. With the original cast made up of the likes of Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill, in 2013, they all got together for a Star Wars celebration.

Lost, 2004 – 2014

When a flight crashed 1000 miles off course onto a mysterious island, the group must use their skills to survive. With each member having a shocking secret themselves, they soon discover security systems and underground bunkers occupy the island. Ending in 2010, three years later the cast appeared together again.

American Pie

The cast of one of the most iconic films of it’s generation don’t look that much different.  Jason is still struggling with food but it’s not as intimate this time.

Saved By The Bell

The show celebrated it’s 25th anniversary in 2014, obviously there’s one person missing but we all know why that is!!


The iconic film is 35 years old this year so obviously the cast have changed loads, but how fresh faced does Drew Barrymore still look.
