Craigslist is a great way of buying and selling things locally, however it’s not without is difficulties.

Just like anything online, Craigslist is full of people trying to scam others out of money.

This guy was selling his beloved motorbike when he was approached by a scammer, but the man decided to have some fun of his own and played the scammer at his own game.

At first glance, everything looks completely normal. Just a girl, trying to buy a bike from a guy online.

Just like any good seller, this guy wanted to make sure the buyer was getting exactly what they wanted.

However things started to sound a little fishy.

“I can only text” is when alarm bells started to ring in the buyers ears.

Rather than walking away, the buyer decided to take it further with the scammer…playing her at her own game.

Raising the price of his bike would put a normal buyer off, but this was just another test for the scammer.

He even hikes the price up once more! Too add some more confusion, the buyer gives some pretty hilarious details about himself.

Here the scammer seems to be catching on, but they keeps going…

This is a PayPal scammer through and through.

The seller continues to play dumb to see how far he can make the scammer go.

“I need to go to Walmart” – a great touch from the scammer who probably lives miles outside the USA.

For a Yahama buyer, the scammer is pretty quick to want to buy the Honda.

It’s clear here that the scammer just wants the details and wants to get out of here quick.

The clever buyer makes the price even higher. But does the scammer notice?

The buyer continues to make it harder and harder to the scammer to get what they want.

The scammer is on to him, they know they’re being played.

We wonder if a scammer has ever complained about having their time wasted before.

The scammer still hasn’t realise that this name has a hidden meaning.

Finally the scammer realised they’ve been played and backs down!
