The King of the Combover, by 1970 Bobby Charlton did not have much hair left. This did not stop him from employing one of the worst attempts ever at hiding his male pattern baldness. The England team, reigning world champions don’t forget, had a performance to match Charlton’s hair in 1970, crashing out to West Germany in the second round.
