The 2018-2019 Premier League season is nearly upon us. As well as all the new teams, new players, and new managers, many fans anticipate another thing – the new kits!
The 2018-19 season sees a new batch of shirts hit the shops. There are some belters amongst the 20 kits, with a particularly strong showing from Adidas and Umbro.
However, it’s not all sunshine and roses. A common theme this year seems to be lovely designs ruined by garish and incongruent sponsor logos.
But which is the best? Well, here at 90s Kids we run down all 20 of this season’s home shirts in descending order.
As their name suggests, Under Armour started life as a company providing training gear designed to wear under sports jerseys. In recent years, they’ve moved into producing the kits themselves, to a mixed response. This season’s Southampton shirt has a cheap look to it, and includes an odd black trim. It does have one thing going for it, though. At least it sees a return of the Saints’ traditional vertical stripes, unlike last season’s monstrosity.
