No musical genre created as much hype as Rock n’ Roll. The legacy behind it leaves behind is the biggest that people have seen in the last sixty years. From the Rock n’ Roll world we’ve gotten such legends like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, The Ramones, Nirvana, and Queen. It created subgenres like Punk, Heavy Metal, Ska and Hard Rock. However during this whole period there is only one man who was rightfully labeled the King of Rock n’ Roll. That man is Elvis Presley.

When he burst onto the scene with his 1956 self titled debut album, he didn’t only rock the state of  Tennessee, but he changed American culture. Fashions changed, attitudes morphed and the post-war world began to cut loose.  The music, the look and the way Elvis moved was different from anything anyone had ever seen before. In the space of one short year, the influence had spread and the rock sound became mainstream.

Throughout his twenty-year career, Elvis never stopped. He’d release record after record and each would top the charts. Then he broke into the movies and the guy was truly everywhere. The style of a rocker isn’t easy and with time it started getting to the legend. Like that, one day the world’s hero, the iconic Elvis Presley was gone. He came, changed the world and left us with a great gift. For years it was believed he died of a heart attack, but in recent years Elvis’ closest friends have stepped up with a different story. Forty years later we are now delivered with the truth behind America’s musical hero.
